BOTSWANA

Our Chillout Botswana experience blends retreat with expedition life and starts at the breathtaking Victoria falls for one night and enjoying a boat trip on the Chobe river, before heading to Camp, that takes place on the former tribal land of the Basubiya people. We honour local cultural heritage by hiring local staff and supporting artisans and their skills so that our guests experience local traditions and have cultural exchanges that go beyond transactions, ensuring every visit positively impacts the community.

In our eco-camp, comfort blends with the wild, offering a fully immersive experience in nature that ignites the spirit. From the viewing deck, you can see the horizon above the flooded plains as well as the yoga Shala, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop. It’s the perfect setting for relaxing and socializing with beautiful sunrise views, cooling off and unwinding, and enjoying dinners under the African sky.

During your Chillout expedition experience we collaborate with the Paramount Chief to organize cultural workshops and assist the school for disabled children in Kachikau. We enjoy daily safari's sighting wild game such as lions, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, a river boat cruise, natures walks, cultural workshops, fireside story telling and traditional dancing and much more...

Our camp features six standard and four large double or twin rooms. Each room is designed to provide a comfortable retreat experience amidst the breathtaking landscape and the whispering sounds of the African bush. The canvas walls of the glamping tents allow guests to feel truly immersed in nature, hearing the calls of hyenas and other wildlife at night.

Each day from sunrise to sunset, the Chillout team welcomes you in our Yoga Shala, a true sanctuary in the wild. This secluded spot offers an inspiring setting for yoga and meditation, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and serenity of the African savannah.

Dining in camp is an integral part of the experience, offering a fusion of local flavors and healthy international cuisine. Our menu has been crafted by Ednah Rosen, author of "A Taste of Botswana", and is now applied by our in-house chef. Using local ingredients and respecting culinary traditions, our delightful dishes enable you to deepen your journey into Africa. One evening is spent enjoying a BBQ in the bush and sundowners under the African sunset. All dietary requirements are catered for, hot drinks and juices are included. Alcoholic and soft drinks can be purchased onsite.

Join us on an unforgettable journey into the heart of authentic Africa.
