In Portugal our dynamic astanga yoga classes in the morning are flowing, strong and dedicated. The sessions will strengthen your practice whilst subtly energising your body and mind. The teacher likes to pay detail to the alignment of each posture before moving on to the next and always gives beginners and more advanced options to make the session suitable for everyone. We truly believe that everyone can practice yoga at some level and get real benefit from it.
The afternoon session will start with more gentle salutes to the sun, some traditional Hatha Yoga Postures to energise and warm the body. Core stability work will follow then this class will end with a wonderful yogic relaxation to help you chill out and unwind for the evening.
SUSSEX
On retreat, In both East and West Sussex, we teach Hatha Yoga which is the more traditional style, suiting most people, strengthening your body whilst subtly energising your body and mind. The asanas are challenging and dynamic and will leave you calm, focused and feeling great.
You will also be introduced to restorative yoga in on retreat in East Sussex, which teaches us how to relax. The body is supported in different poses by various props, tucked in with a blanket… and through warmth and safety, allowed to deeply relax. All the benefits of different yoga poses whilst healing the nervous system, reproductive system, digestive system, immune system (to name but a few) through true relaxation.
You can expect to work strongly, smoothly and develop a deep sense of awareness in these classes. lessons are suitable for any ability and will raise your heartbeat and strengthen you from your very core. A prefect way to leap into spring.
Because our retreats are intimate you can expect plenty of personal attention. Any ability will be given the space and confidence to grow.
