Eco philosophy

Wherever we can we Reuse, Recycle and Reduce.
We have a strong interest in being as eco-friendly as possible, and the building in Sardinia has a number of features to try and minimise its impact on the environment.
Eco-wise we use solar heated water, wall and roof insulation, rainwater storage tanks which are used for toilet water supply, a 3kw solar electric generating facility on the roof and A or A+ rated appliances in the kitchens and laundries, plus dishwashers and washing machines that use water efficiently.
In both Portugal and Sardinia, we pick much of the fruit when in season from the land and purchase local produce so as to minimise our carbon footprint.
We tread lightly wherever we can...it's our environment, so we like to take good care of it!
