Natalie Smit-Ash, (far left) is the founder of chill out retreats, (BA Hons, Dip, MICHT) and has practiced yoga for over 15 years and is currently training as a hatha yoga teacher. She is already a fully qualified Holistic Therapist, Reiki Master/Teacher and baby massage instructor. She has over 7 years of qualification and experience in the field of complementary Health and is certified by the internationally acclaimed Vocational Training Charitable Trust. "Natalie was born into a family of complementary therapists with her grandfather practicing conventional medicine alongside acupuncture and Reiki with the Native American Indians in North America". Natalie has completed massage training in Thailand, and expanded her knowledge of Aromatherapy and Reflexology in Australia and China". She lives in Sussex with her husband and two wonderful children.

Lucie Ash, (an Ash sister pictured second left) is our unique onsite food enthusiast who will freshly prepare all breakfasts, lunches and dinners whilst on many of our retreats. She is passionate about food and creates the heartiest dishes that are considerate to body and mind. Many retreaters return on the strength of her wonderful food...she really is like gold-dust and will happily share recipies and educate anyone on the art of her cooking.
Lucie is also a central st.Martins degree level trained artist and offers art workshops on retreat.
Kate Tyler, 3rd Picture, manages our West Sussex retreats having spent years managing boutique wellness resorts and top-end retreats in Thailand and India. As a result she has developed extensive knowledge and expertise in this field and is warmly welcomed into the Chillout team. She is highly experienced in detox cleansing and a variety of eastern and western healing modalities. She teaches traditional hatha Yoga having trained in India and is a holistic therapist, life coach, clinical hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and more....
Lisa Christie (4th pic) teaches for us in East Sussex, her love of yoga began nearly a decade ago. She was drawn to teach 3 years ago completing teacher training in 2008 and has subsequently studied around the world with various teachers including Angela Farmer, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Eric Stewart. Her main inspiration and teacher is Donna Farhi. Lisa was blessed to complete the advanced teacher training with Donna in New Zealand in 2010. Inviting people to explore patterns in the mind body with curiosity and wonder, her classes are infused with anatomy, poetry, sharing of universal movement patterns and humour. Lisa teaches both Hatha and Restorative Yoga with passion and love.
Janette (5th pic) teaches for us in the Uk, has taught Hatha Yoga & Meditation for over 20 years & provides a comprehensive programme. They include pranayama, stretches, asanas with options for varying abilities, followed by soothing and deep relaxation, meditation and/or chanting. Janette holds group Hatha yoga, one to one yoga, self development, meditation and spiritual development classes. Her Meditations are built on the traditional foundations of Eastern Philosophy but extends through the faculty of intuition, accessing and nurturing the deeper level of ones being for awareness and empowerment.
Márcia Azevedo (7th Pic) tecahes for us in Portugal and has been practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga since 2004 a style of yoga characterized by the dynamic connections between breath and postures. Due to the classes she was invited to give in the Amsterdam, she decided to enter a Certificated Teacher Training in India at http://www.brahmaniyoga.com/ to continue improve her practice and her teaching skills. Travelling since then, she has been giving group and private classes in Holland , Brazil, Spain and Portugal . Yoga is an inspiration for her that she would like to share all around the world. Like a bird, she helps you to fly!
