BEYOND YOU... An immersive mindfulness retreat

'Beyond You' is an immersive, mindfulness retreat where you can step out of your busy life and spend 7 days nurturing your soul.  

Spend a relaxing, rejuvenating week, in a beautiful Masseria, in the heart of the Sicilian countryside. Share delicious home cooked vegetarian food, made from local produce with like-minded people in a welcoming, supportive, safe environment created by our highly experienced and friendly team.

You’ll be practicing yoga and meditation daily, along with two mindfulness sessions. You’ll learn techniques and mindsets that will change the way you see and experience the world, forever. You will uncover some of the underlying causes of stress that relate more to your own habitual reactions to challenging situations than to any external conditions. This approach will leave you with a new sense of grounding and inner calm, and a higher resilience to deal with anything that life throws at you. Mindfulness helps us to cope with stressful situations by giving us the tools to choose how we behave, rather than reacting from a place of heightened emotion.

There will also be plenty of free time for you to relax, take in your surroundings, swim or even explore the island.

Please note that Natalie Smit-Ash will be guest tecahing at this retreat, however this is NOT a Chillout Retreat.

The Masseria is nested in the heart of the Madonie mountain park, a few miles from Gangi – “Most beautiful village in Italy” prize winner, and about 40 km from the enchanting fishermen village of Cefalù.


Surrounded by the silence offered by its enclosed 25 hectares park, at 650m above the sea level, you will be able to walk for hours in the secret inner paths and in the hidden centuries-old oak forest, get lost in the labyrinth garden of the 18th century, explore the banks of our “private” river, meditate or practice yoga at sunrise or sunset in the terrace overlooking the mountains and the valley or just sunbathing and swimming in the infinity pool.


The Masseria is a certified organic farm and produces extra virgin olive oil, wheat, vegetables and fruit that we use to prepare our healthy vegetarian meals and their homemade preserves and jams.

The Masseria is set in a 17th century farmhouse, surrounded by 25 hectares of a lush private park that includes a secluded oak wood, a small river and a labyrinth garden of the first half of 18th century. With 13 double rooms, distributed between the main building and the garden cottages, the Masseria hosts up to 26 people (although there will only be 12 guests on this retreat). You will have at your disposal a large indoor yoga room of 130 sq.m., located in the old barn, three different lounge areas for every moment of the day, a special space dedicated to massages and a cozy restaurant, where enjoying three delicious vegetarian Sicilian meals a day, prepared with the very own products of the Masseria, a certified organic farm since 15 years.


All rooms have air conditioning facilities and are elegantly furnished with antique or Sicilian style furniture.
