Set deep in the heart of the Sussex countryside you are in for a real treat. We are excited to be collaborating with one of VIKASA'S leading and most inspiring teachers, George who is coming to the UK especially for this retreat, to guide you through some challenging and transformational yoga throughout the weekend alongside Natalie and Lucie, the chillout sisters.
We will be offering two whole days dedicated to furthering your practice in mixed ability (yes beginners are welcome but we do recommend some experience in yoga) hatha, vinyasa, yin & restorative yoga, pranayama, guided mindfulness meditations, asana clinics, walks and soundbaths, nutritious and delicious food that detoxifies and nourishes the body. We hope you will experience and benefit from a 'oneness' a true community style feel on these day retreats with enough space for individual calm and contemplation. Cowdray Hall is situated within the grounds of the Cowdray estate and hosts inspirational workshops and events, weekly classes and one-to-one therapy sessions focusing on all areas of self-development. We have the exclusive use of three main rooms. The Chapel is a peaceful and intimate space with excellent acoustics, regularly used for Yoga, Pilates, Meditation and Chanting. The Main Hall is a light and impressive room and the Meeting Room is a beautifully lit and carpeted room. Cowdray estate is seeped in history dating back to the early 1500's, Cowdray was in its heyday during the reign of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, both of whom visited and stayed at the house, with Henry VIII being a frequent visitor.
